Produced during the process of cyanide silver plating solution, liquid waste containing silver has its recycling value. In modern society where energy resources are increasingly meager, energy saving and economy have been a solid support for survival of each enterprise. In the thesis, the silver-containing liquid waste produced during cyanide plating in the Jiangmen Electroplate Factory was used as a raw material to recover silver through an electrochemical method. Additionally, the best silver-recovery process was designed through optimization of all sorts of technological conditions which influence the silver recovery. Finally, its technological economy was evaluated.
